What is going on?

Silly Whispers is getting ready for Spring 2012.  I have some pics to show that will give you an idea what is available. 

This is the grandchildren (minus a new one) of the Spencers.  We made matching monogrammed  outfits for all the grands.  This definitely makes us happy to see our fashions being enjoyed by super, cute, happy little ones like the Spencers. 

These were brown small weld cord a-lines with ruffles for the girls and jon jons for the boys.

                                     

 

These two precious outfits were made for two sisters.  This also is small weld cord with aqua blue accents. 

Boys Easter outfit





Great outfit for Easter for little boys.  This is shorts of your choice with matching t-shirt appliqued with a little wagon loaded with Easter eggs.  The name is monogrammed on the side of the wagon.

Another special play outfit is shorts (of your choice) with an appliqued  frog, lobster, crab, or surfboards on the front.



We have not forgotten the girls.  Pictured below are some dresses and outfits for summer that are always available.  You choose your fabric and also specify the monogramm. 



2010 Post

Today is August 13--FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!!!! I hope you had an eventful day without the "black cat" crossing the road or some other "wise tale" taking your breath away.
We at Silly Whispers have another way to take your breath away!!! Come by and see all our new designs. We have worked diligently to develop some new dresses, jon jons, new embroidery designs, and especially new quilt designs just for you. We are so proud of our NEW things.
With school starting, we have been busy getting backpacks monogrammed, new school clothes ready for school, as well as lots of classroom "frills" for the teachers. What fun we have had!!!!

Our web site, www.sillywhispers.com , is up and running. It probably has some errors, but we try hard to keep it correct. My internet runs so slow that it takes hours to get everything just right. Also our Facebook page is up. I still have problems putting pictures on the site correctly. If you know what I can do to make it work, let me know.

Well, enough for tonight!!!! Hopefully I have downloaded  a "Football" picture for you to see. This is our cheerleader suit and jersey for the season. We have also ordered for Hebron Christian School. If your school needs these, let us know. We would love to offer them to the students.

Spring if not far away!!!

Yesterday was our day for the visit from the Quilter's Guild from Choctaw County. What a fun day!! There were 28 quilters. They had an official meeting and also shared things that they had done, were doing, or planning to do. They are a very talented group. We also learned they weren't all from Choctaw. They were from Starkville to Louisville, Eupora, Ackerman, Harrisburg and a few more. They are so dedicated to their art.

We had new fabric on the way!! Be sure and check it out. I will try to put some pictures on ASAP.

The New Year

We are exciting about 2010. Things have been "poppin" fast and loud at our shop. We have a group of new fabrics. And they are cute, cute. Great for the "little ones" and also a great selection for all you quilters. Come by and brows.
We also have new merchandise for the infants and toddlers. New smocked dresses. New boys' outfits. And also we have our new outfits out of our new fabric.
One item that we are proud of is our aprons for the whole family. Family night in the kitchen cookin' up grandma's recipe with everyone in their own apron. What a Family night!!! Come by and see!
We also will have new pillowcase dresses. These are some of the older designs that you have been asking for. I'm planning to get some of these designs on this blog this afternoon.
It is definitely a great day to honor God. Just look out your window and see the birds, deer (if you live in the country), and the beautiful sunshine that keeps peeping through the clouds. "....let us rejoice and be glad in it".

We are so excited at Silly Whispers! We hope that our ceiling will be lowered this next week! We are ready to get everything back in place from Christmas and move forward with all our new ideas in 2010!

We have some new designs that are going to be sooooooo cute!! The new colors are out and we are ready to sew!! We also have some new embroidery designs for birthdays, spring and the summer. It is so much fun to put all of our designs and ideas together and come up with something cute!!!

After Christmas

We have survived Christmas!! We all had a great Christmas. Becky and I celebrated Christmas with out grands and with mother. Hope and her family went to Virginia and skied and had a great time. Even though the Christmas season was sad and difficult, they still could celebrate the birth of Christ and his promise that there is eternal life and they will see Abigail in Heaven. We miss her greatly. She was a delightful young lady and a Christian example for all. David, Hope, Mark, and Wade you all are in our prayers daily.

In the shop, our ceiling is being lowered. Hurray!!!! We can now stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Also, once this is finished, we will rearrange--again. We love to rearrange!!

Once we have our arrangement to our satisfaction, we will begin on our Spring fashions. They are in our heads and some are on paper. Once we start sewing, new items will be made and ready for purchase. Remember to come see us around February 1 to see the new fashions.

Silly Whispers looks forward to 2010. 2009 was a very good year and our customers are the best. Thanks for making 2009 a good year.
